JUICING REBOOT: PERSISTENCE, NOT PERFECTION by Cathy D. Slaght
February 12 was the official start of a 60 day transformation - an online "reboot" group that I recently signed up for. Primary motivation was to get rid of a big belly AND extra pounds. But also, I know that nutrition is key in raising voltage.
And taking it a step further, I want to do the best work possible for the group, which means I need to have as high of voltage as possible. If I'm coming home at night and having a wedge of Brie and a box of triscuits, well...you get the idea.
Food has always been my biggest hurdle. If it weren't for the steady work with the quantum software, essential oils, and rice products, I don't know where I'd be. But this year, I decided, is the year to change things. The Universe seemed to have helped out when, right after signing up for the reboot, I got a severe gastrointestinal flu- which made it impossible to drink coffee or eat sugar/ wheat/ dairy. Stayed off those things, so I didn't get "sick" when the actual reboot started.
The group work started last Friday. The first week was two juices a day and salad and soups the rest of the time. For me, all kinds of challenges. Juicer didn't work very well- took hours to make that first juice. Each day after that was a struggle, and I'd end up with foamy juice. I didn't like the salad and soup recipes. Valentines day was on day 3, and I cheated.
BUT, I made it! I didn't quit! As the coach says, it isn't perfection, but persistence that gets us through. Now I have a new juicer that works like a dream and am set to start the second week, which is ONLY juice. Prayers appreciated.
I've also been running my goal weight as a program through the SRC4U. Don't do it daily, as, it's focused on just weight, not a general balancing., and I'm already in the energy group. Working with the SRC4U in this way may be helping to clear some energetic patterns that have kept me going back to the bad stuff. I believe it has played a big part in my making it to this point.
(Had purchased a subliminal CD, but returned it, because, in fairness, I'm doing fine without it.)
The group I'm in is based on the documentary "Fat, sick, and nearly dead". This can be pulled up online if you want to see it. Information about the reboot group is there, too.
One of the most effective strategies they have is to have 3 days of meals/juice set up ahead of time. When the cravings hit you've got something healthy to grab.
Cravings are typically a cry for some kind of mineral or vitamin. They actually go away if you can provide the body with what it REALLY wants. (Which is NOT a pizza.)
An excellent site to help with all this is emeals.com, which also helps you plan and prepare meals ahead. The reboot group costs $, the emeal.com is free! Also, the attached image today is a chart that spells out what vitamin and mineral deficiencies are tied to certain cravings. If you can't see it clearly, here's another great link:
