DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SURVIVE ON MARS? by Cathy D. Slaght
(translation: do you have what it takes to solve ANY problem?)
What if we had it all backwards? Just about everybody has some programming about what "God" is. That coding includes messages about what sinners we are, etc, but also commands us to serve God. But what if it was God that wanted to serve US?
What if we were actually enveloped in a matrix of informational frequency that could supply everything we could ever need?
And, stay with me here if you can- after all, this contradicts much of our belief system- what if the higher our voltage, the better our "reception" of God's love? If that were true, then to solve our problems we would need to raise our voltage!
No more begging, bartering, or pleading with God- God wants us to have what we want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else! What a concept!
If you're willing to consider that possibility, then pick one problem you'd like to see go away. Next, complete the questionnaire below to get an idea of what could be pulling your voltage down.
If the dots begin to come together, pick one area of stress and begin to clear it. See what happens with the problem. That's the only way we can see if any of this is true.
And remember, it takes time. The Martian didn't get to come right home!

WHAT I LEARNED FROM THE MARTIAN by Cathy D. Slaght
Don't usually go to a "real movie"- what with Red Box, Netflix, etc, but for some reason I wanted to see The Martian.
It was fantastic. In the beginning, Matt Damon was faced with impossible odds. He was stranded on Mars, injured, with limited supplies and NO way to communicate with NASA to let them know he was alive and in need of a pick up.
It was as hopeless as hopeless could get.
I myself would probably have just eaten all the rations in one massive binge eating stress attack and gone straight to bed.
(Actually, have done that a few times, but it was on this planet.)
But not our hero. "Fuck you", Mars", he says. "I'm not dying here."
And miracles began.
Because, even "out there" he was still in the matrix. He had spoken his INTENT.
And followed with action.
In other words, he didn't just sit there picturing his rescue, although I'm sure he did plenty of that type of visualizing. It's crucial. But along with it he organized, planned, worked. He kept his sense of humor, too.
Not just when he felt inspired, but every day, against all odds.
The more he did all this, the more the "ideas" came- this was actually direct communication with the informational field that surrounds all of us. Earth or Mars, - it doesn't matter- we all have access.
Want to point out something about his injury, too. He had been impaled with a metal rod. Even though it was devastatingly painful, the rod is also what saved his life. It somehow sealed his space suit while he was unconscious on the surface of Mars.
He acknowledged the gift from the rod - which is significant.
That's because our biggest problems can also be our greatest blessings, if we can bring ourselves to look at them from that perspective.
But in spite of his positive attitude, hard work, etc, there were several devastating setbacks. You could see it on his face - he would, for a moment, realize he might really die on Mars, after all. Then he'd start over.
And he made it.
The key to survival in any situation, he said to a bunch of astronauts in training at the end of the movie, is to take it one step at a time. "If you sign up for the astronaut program", he said, "it's possible you will also go through something like this."
And that's the thing. We're all in that program. Our planet is Earth. Conditions can be hostile. We can feel abandoned, alone, out of communication.
But maybe we just need to say "Fuck you, _______, this isn't happening", make a plan, and stick to it. And sorry for the F word, but sometimes no other word will do.

A FRESH START-TODAY! by Cathy D. Slaght
When people experience hardship- whatever their definition of that might be-, they may question God. After all, we're told "Ask and it is given"- but we ask- and ask-
In fact, I remember a joke from years back- hope this doesn't offend- about a reporter asking a man who prayed at the Western Wall every day. "What's this like?" The answer: "Like I'm talking to a damn wall"
But it wasn't supposed to be that way.
As I continued to search for answers about the suffering I saw all around- not to mention in my own life- I came to learn that we are actually smack dab in the middle (well not literally the middle but you get the idea) of an infinite field/matrix/web of information put there to provide us with everything we could ever need or desire.
I believe this was put in place by God.
But whatever the source, most of mankind is unaware of this field, or how to work with it. We don't understand that we're energetic beings, and have great power when our own energy fields are "charged"- i.e. have high voltage.
And THAT'S been the source of human misery.
Meanwhile, this field, waiting for your request, is totally impartial. You simply pull in whatever matches the level of your voltage, or vibration. Obviously, the "good stuff" is higher up the scale.
That could be why, when we're living on a diet of processed foods and watching television 8 hours a day, life doesn't seem to be so great. Sure, we can enjoy life with a few of our favorite treats- it's the STEADY diet of low voltage food that seems to do the damage.
Emotions like anger, resentment, shame, etc- whether on a conscious or unconscious level- don't help either.
Interestingly enough, our habits of daily living- like diet- seems to be a factor in harboring low voltage emotions.
So, I fell off the wagon yesterday - lots of pizza, a little beer too - but Go Bucs!
And today's a fresh start- as is every day, for all of us.
