DOES ANYBODY WIN THE "ME" GAME? by Cathy D. Slaght
Years ago, way before being introduced to quantum software, I had a Reiki session.
A very close friend had died suddenly, and the grief was so intense I couldn’t function. Desperate for answers, relief, whatever, I went to a few different psychics and, finally, booked a Reiki session.
Because it seemed to do NOTHING for me, I decided Reiki was a bunch of nonsense.
Now, 20+ years later, am I ready to re-examine this, mainly because of tangible results from the SRC Reiki.
So, yesterday, took a class.
For the next 21 days am to say to myself, before getting out of bed:
“Just for today- do not be angry, do not worry, I give thanks for many blessings, I do my work honestly, I am kind to my neighbors and every living thing.”
This is no problem, except since it’s been said the subconscious does not hear words like “not, never”- am using ELIMINATE in place of DO NOT, as in “eliminate anger, eliminate worry”.
Also, dowsed these into my daily SRC session.
HERE’S THE CHALLENGE: there are 13 self-healing poses. We are to do them first thing every morning and last thing every night- 3 minutes a pose.
This is said to balance the chakra system, which then balances the endocrine system. BUT- based on my track record with this type of thing …will I follow through? Checked with a few friends who are Reiki Masters and they said No, they don't keep up with the daily poses.
SO - also tested myself for benefit of receiving the IMAGE of the 13 poses- it was 86% benefit to receive it via the Wonder Click each day. Intended to show this in the screen cast, but it cycled very quickly so the image is already gone- apparently it takes a just brief time.
I do plan to do the 3D version of the poses… just haven’t gotten to it yet. (not a good sign)
But all this has me thinking about what I really know about ANYTHING.
Seriously, we’re constantly being fed information as to the way things ARE. So many versions, though. What’s correct?
For example, talked to someone today who just had heart surgery. Her physician has instructed: NO NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS.
Problem is, she lives on primarily processed foods, and isn’t willing to change.
But is her M.D. on target? Many of us may be taking too many supplements. We’re not sure of their synergy when taken together, the chemicals they may contain, etc.
Does this mean we should eliminate them ALL?
And there’s more to think about. She, along with the rest of her family, is extremely liberal politically. Now this morning, she said “so many immigrants are here for only financial benefits. They’re draining the system, so there may not be enough for ME during this health crisis.”
How far do we take this ME thing?
Is having a daily self-care routine first thing every day that NOTHING interferes with too self-centered, too much ME?
But wait- being that I’m not sure about the reality of this- plus told the instructor I would do it- will start the process and keep you posted.
As far as the group work, the focus for today is the chakra system.
Etheric, not physical
