GIVE YOURSELF A “GET OUT OF JAIL FREE” CARD by Cathy D. Slaght
If you’re ready to go to the next level in your life, you may need to clear stress related to anger.
It can be a major drain on voltage.
We’ve been working on stress related to this with the SRC4YOU for days now. We are SO programmed in this area! PLUS, everyday life presents us with plenty to be ANGRY about. We can’t go around expressing this anger every time we experience it, can we? Aren’t we supposed to CONTROL ourselves?
Yesterday I got a chance, in a small way, to put this to the test.
I was in in Miami, with two good friends, attending a seminar about a new wellness technology. Something happened that made me angry. It was a small thing regarding the time we were going to go to the seminar. My friends wanted to leave the comfort of our wonderful B&B and go an hour early, I didn’t.
I said exactly how I felt. (this is out of character for me in situations like this.)
But it did no good. I was outnumbered, so off we went. THEN, it turned out we were too early to get in, so had to wait outside.
My anger GREW.
I wondered, what good is it to express anger if it then just gets WORSE? Isn’t it supposed to CALM DOWN once expressed?
Then I thought about how other factors often hide beneath anger.
And realized - I was exhausted, having been on the road for much of April. THAT was the problem, not an hour out of the day.
Strangely enough, once this realization hit, the anger DID evaporate. Some energy even returned.
I’ve got a lot more to work on in this area. My main challenge is anger over things I believe I see happening in the world. (You probably notice this in some of the posts.)
And maybe I’m not alone.
Still, if we’re serious about creating the life we desire, so that we can then do our part to make the world a better place, we must guard our minds, stay focused, protect our vision.
Not be drained by inappropriate anger.
Maybe this involves paying closer attention to our personal level of energy/vitality. This would mean taking better care of ourselves.
Fortunately, if we consciously/consistently work towards this, success is LITERALLY in our DNA.
We can be free from whatever imprisons us- including anger.
Here’s where we are today with stress management related to this- etheric, not physical.
