HOW THE WORLD REALLY WORKS by Cathy D. Slaght
There's a system we live under in this world that just doesn't make sense. Why, for example, have most people in the United States never known real hunger- in fact many are obese- while in other countries children are dying of starvation?
Do you ever wonder about things like this? Do you have a deep desire to "understand"?
Understanding is your foundation. Just like a house without a foundation will "topple over" with time, so will you, eventually, if you never get a grip on how the world really works.
To understand, you have to know about subtle energy.
Here's what I'm talking about:
Ancient healers and sages taught that life existed as a result of tension between two polarities of positive and negative. Physics now demonstrates they were trying to say that each hemisphere of the brain puts out scalar waves, one side positive, the other negative. Wherever you focus those waves, causing them to intersect, is what creates your reality.
You can do this consciously, but most do it unconsciously.
This positive and negative flow of energy, the ancients said, is linked and directed by a neutral party known as "mind.", or subconscious. But what orchestrates "mind" is an invisible flow of energy known as "subtle energy".
Ancient writings said that in order for life to be maintained there must be no interruption in this flow.
But various forms of stress, whether it be negative thoughts and emotions, toxins from our air, food, and water, too much television, etc, could cause blockages.
These blockages may be the real reason for any form of lack.
Once you "get" this concept, you realize you can have great control over your own reality. On the other hand, without this understanding you may open yourself up to outside manipulation by those who understand subtle energy all too well.
You eat and drink poison, wear $200 tennis shoes, etc.
(did you know the word "merchant" came, originally, from the word "enchant"?
After a time, because you've been enchanted, you end up fat, sick, and/or broke.
And, without understanding subtle energy, think life is unfair.
