LOOKS LIKE WE'LL BE IN "YES" MODE SOON! by Cathy D. Slaght
It's always better to do the positive thing. For example, if you don't want to eat genetically modified foods, just don't buy them. Simple as that.
But now we may soon lose the ability to KNOW what's GMO and what isn't.
So, over the next few days I'm continuing to break down an article by John Cooper, where he explains that we really don't need labeling, since the GMO foods are so good for us.
Here's another statement from the article:
"The overall scientific consensus is that GM crops pose no more harm than conventional crops. This has been found again and again in paper after paper." (False)
Problem is, these papers are products of Monsanto funded researchers and scientists. FDA does no research of its own. If you read "What's the Magic Number" you see that these experiments are skewed. That's why European research has different outcomes from their "paper after paper".
Some countries have banned GMO because of these findings, others mandate labeling.
In the post, "You Can Create Miracles In Your Life" you can see the mineral differences in GMO and Non-GMO, and why that happens.
And just so you know, the USDA published in 2010 and again 2011 that yes indeed there is depletion of minerals, some of them quite severe. So, what is the concept of "poses no more harm than conventional crops."?
But it gets better.
Monsanto also has a patent on glyphosate as an antibiotic This is because one part per million (ppm) of glyphosate kills baccteria. They had hopes at one time that they could market it as a pharmaceutical.
Problem is, we need some good bacteria in our gut, and glyphosate kills that.
And interestingly enough, salmonella and clostridia- two BAD ones- are resistant. Veterinarians started noting more incidences of these bacteria in poultry( fed gmo) and are now faced with epidemics in some poultry houses.
And have you read up on C-Diff? Used to be rare, but not any more.
C-Diff is a TERRIBLE bacterial infection of the intestines. It comes from clostridia- you know, that bacteria that glyphosate leaves while it kills the good stuff. It attacks the lining of the intestines, causing extreme pain and diarrhea..
It ranges from mild to life-threatening. It's impossible to cure using conventional antibiotics. Fecal transplants are the only way to go, unless you want to take capsules with fecal matter in them.
"Eat Shi*" takes on a whole new meaning.
A good friend suffers from C-Diff. I called, told her about this, and she immediately went online to see for herself.
"I thought my head would blow up" she said when she called back. She'd found a website that gave her the REAL facts. Angry is not the word.
She's faced with a fecal transplant, or the capsules. The good news is that she loves her doctor, although, she says, nobody else seems to appreciate him. Maybe that's because he's Russian, and he tells the truth. There's no nonsense, he doesn't try to be a friend.
He just says, "Here's the deal. You have C-Diff and here's what you need to do." He has her on a good probiotic, for example.
"But why", she asked, "do I have to take probiotics? I eat very well!"
His answer" We have over processed food and have killed off all the good bacteria. You wouldn't believe what's happening to our food source. In Russia this isn't allowed. In Russia they don't need probiotics."
"Russian doctors", she says, "are superior to American doctors when it comes to nutrition.
Wonder how that happened.
