SHIFTING NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE WITH ESSENTIAL OILS by Cathy D. Slaght
Yesterday a link was shared about a young woman who – because of childhood trauma that resulted in a feeling of being unloved- pursued a series of destructive relationships that ultimately led her to life in prison.
An extreme example, true. BUT- many of us have had one or more traumas. If we can't work through them, we may end up in a prison of sorts.
(Trauma can’t always be defined. It comes from personal perspective, may build up over the years, and can be a combination of family influences, culture, religion, life experience.)
In my case, a traumatic childhood caused me to want only ONE thing out of life-a happy family. This led to majoring in home economics in college- it was said only 1 in 300 home economists ever got divorced...I must have been the 1...
...because by age 45 I'd been married and divorced 3 times. I could have written my own series of Lifetime Movies. (At least it wasn't SNAPPED.)
Beyond that, there were blessings. The first marriage got me to Florida. The second gave me the greatest love and joy of my life, my daughter. The third...well, let's just say I became MUCH more assertive when it came to creating my personal reality.
Still, I have my own version of PSTD when it comes to this area of my life.
Working with the SCIO, and then the SRC led to a HUGE transformation in many OTHER areas...this one may come too...
But when I learned about Jason Sapp, a veteran who cleared much a more serious PSTD- involving addiction, loss of family, and a suicide attempt- WITH ESSENTIAL OILS, I purchased his book. (Today's image.)
Along with co-author Ryan Watson, M. Ed, Sapp provides information about working with Essential Oils that is totally based on science- in other words, pure logic.
Bottom line, he believes Essential Oils should be in every home. AND, the sooner the better.
As far as using them to work with TRAUMA- trauma is defined by brain function. Under extreme stress, blood doesn't flow to certain parts of the brain. Medical science now has the ability to map all this, so can document the significance of working with the oils.
As long as a person wants to be healed, and is consistent in using the oils, the body will respond to the oils' chemistry. Working with the SRC along with this process offers exciting perspectives.
But now let's move on to today's subtitle- which may turn out to be - OFFENDING SOME PEOPLE.
It seems abortion has become so common that some want it to be legal right up to the actual birth of the child. Something about women's rights.
We even got to hear Virginia governor Ralph Northam justify this by explaining that the baby, if born alive, will be kept comfortable until its put to death. (No shame THERE, right?)
Do you think such a process might lead to some PSTD for the woman who was pregnant? Some say many women who have abortions experience trauma over their decision, sometimes for the rest of their life.
For these women, the primary emotion is said to be SHAME. What we know about this emotion
But for now, today's session, etheric, not physical
