THE BEST WEIGHT LOSS COACH… by CathyD. Slaght
…probably wouldn’t be someone who’s always been fit and trim.
Instead, it would be someone who was once overweight THEMSELVES. They’d be able to identify with the pain and frustration involved…
…which means I have the potential of someday being a fabulous “End Procrastination NOW” type coach.
Am thinking about this as I force myself to deal with this indoor garden kit that came the other day.
First, no instructions are included. They’re all on YouTube.
From YouTube I learned there are seed pods that need to be sprouted first- in, of all things, a cupcake holder type container, which doesn’t come with the kit.
This means I had to buy cupcakes at Publix.
(why would anyone buy a cupcake container with no cupcakes)
Now there’s another challenge: Over-eating or drinking can have a seriously negative impact on the Fire Element.
Here’s how it works: The 5 elements are to flow in a clockwise direction. This means Fire is to flow to Earth, which, organ-wise, is the stomach and spleen.
Loading up the stomach with too much food or drink can throw this energy flow off, causing it to go BACKWARDS (counter-clockwise) from Earth to Fire.
This can create what the Chinese refer to as a “phlegm-fire” condition.
If this phlegm-fire condition persists - in other words, over-eating/drinking is the norm- the first result can be a type of mania, a feeling of being “all fired up”.
But then, over time, the Fire Element may burn out, leading to bouts of severe depression or melancholy.
This is what the Chinese would refer to as bipolar. (which is no longer rare, now effecting 5.7 million Americans.)
The cupcakes have lost some appeal.
Tomorrow will start the pods- am planting Summer Crisp Lettuce, Romaine, 2 Red Cherry Tomatoes, 2 Basils, Kale, Cabbage, and Parsley.
Today’s scan- etheric, not physical
