THE DEMENTED ACTIONS OF MADMEN by Cathy D. Slaght
When I first thought about doing a few posts to share the idea that crisis may actually be opportunity in disguise, I didn't anticipate the tragic shooting of two young reporters.
In this light, it made me doubt my own belief system. Is it possible that even a crisis of this nature actually occurs for the purpose of re-booting our system, putting us back online?
This is a tough one, but those who study this kind of thing say it's actually how our energetic system operates.
And step 2 to "converting crisis to opportunity" is actually just the recognition of this possibility.
After all, even Nasa says we operate like computers, and our energy system is similar to a software program.
Sometimes, though, it's virtually impossible to think this way.
How could anything good come from this senseless violence?
"Gun Control", some might say. But gun control doesn't work.
We have always had guns in the US, but did not have these mass shootings in the past.
That's because this is not about guns, but societal decay.
That's why the countries that have implemented gun control have not seen a decrease in the number of violent deaths.
And in this country, Washing D.C. and Chicago have the toughest gun laws, and yet the highest crime and murder rates.
In fact Chicago homicides actually outnumber US troop killings in Afghanistan. It's safer to go to war than go to Chicago.
Our founding fathers were adamant about gun rights. The reason is obvious:
But what could be an "opportunity", if it isn't gun control?
Maybe we can face the societal decay and form communities that connect with one another through prayer, meditation, visualizing.
And/or- we can learn that while yes, we must be aware, we must NOT get caught up. This prevents us from connecting.
And/or - we can remember to focus on what we want, rather than what we fear. (When we are distracted by fear, we are easily manipulated.)
Maybe we'll finally figure out that we can only do something about these senseless deaths when we are NOT confronting the issue at the same level. TRANSLATION: We must keep our frequency/voltage high.
We can be re-energized, and start new lives.
But those who can't overcome the negativity block the road to these possibilities.
As they remain in the energy of fear and hate they lower personal and collective voltage and, bring in more of what they "fear and hate".
Things are changing rapidly. It may be time to look, not through the eyes of judgment, but through eyes that see differently.
It may be time to realize that the "demented actions of madmen" might include the actions of those who believe that the only solution to these shootings is taking away guns while ignoring our society's decay.
