THE EXCUSES WE USE by Cathy D. Slaght
I've been telling friends about phase 1 of the chakra balancing diet- which is simply drinking Himalayan salt in purified or distilled water every day. So far no one is interested.
All that's required is a very small change in water-drinking habits: (1/16 of a teaspoon- which is about ¼ of a ¼ teaspoon- of Himalayan salt in a gallon of good water. Then drink THAT water during the next 24 hours. If you feel like a gallon is too much, fine, drink what you can.)
So, one friend said “WHAT?” ONLY WATER AND SALT FOR ONE MONTH?”
(NO-this is not a fast. Eat the way you always eat.)
Another - “I already take minerals and drink bottled water.”
(bottled water is usually just tap water, and all that plastic is devastating to our systems. Also, do an online search for the benefits of Himalayan salt – it's possible that no mineral supplement can compare.)
And- “I salt all my food with Himalayan salt)
(The salt needs the medium of water to truly be absorbed.)
Of course, if you're happy with the way your life is going, don't change anything. But, if things aren't going so well – health, wealth, and so on - it could be that you're out of alignment – and that you may benefit from the chakra balancing diet.
If you decide to give it a try, a word about the water- if you have a water system, fine. Use that water. However, there are some alkaline systems that cause more harm than good. We'll be covering this.
Also, in reference to distilled water- Dr. Jerry Tennant, in his book Healing Is Voltage, says you can kill yourself drinking distilled water. It pulls minerals out of the cells. On page 122 he gives a specific example:
“if you put one drop of distilled water in an eye, the cornea immediately becomes opaque and the cells inside the eye are killed as the minerals are pulled out of them.”
So, ONLY drink distilled water if you're adding minerals back in.
But one more thing:
This is a proactive approach, as opposed to REACTING once a problem manifests. Many don't have the slightest interest in this. In fact, they seem to be in a sort of daze.
For example, I went for a massage yesterday and the therapist had planted flowers outside her studio. She'd been so excited, waiting for comments.
Not one person, including me, even noticed.
What else are we missing?
And, speaking of DAZE- how many of us know about the power of Himalayan salt but still don't use it?
One final thing-
Here are two numbers to write on opposite sides of the water container- 99 77 654 and 44 66 111---this is said to create a vortex which puts healing into the water. (write it on ANY container, even the coffee machine and water cooler!)
What could it hurt?
