THE SPLEEN- A BOUNCER FOR A MAGICAL BEING- WHICH IS YOU by Cathy D. Slaght
Some say that we could get along without a spleen- but the TRUTH is that it’s an important part of the immune system.
It functions as a large lymph gland- but holds a reservoir of blood and platelets- and is designed to destroy old blood cells while at the same time making new lymphocytes (white blood cells) for the body.
Without a spleen, or with a poorly functioning one, the body is more prone to infection.
Plus- it’s purple! That’s GOOD!
Anyway, as you know, we’re working towards raising voltage- which means we must be aware of the physical body AND take care of it…as well as our emotions, mental state, spiritual state. So, I was thinking about this, wondering what the #1 characteristic of high voltage might be.
Is it a pristine body? Great wealth? Fame? Profound psychic ability?
Or could it be empathy? Just a thought.
Meanwhile, here are some signs of stress related to the spleen:
-runny or drippy nose
-catching cold at the beginning of winter
-mucous producing cough
-frequent colds or flu
-wounds heal slowly
-swollen lymph glands, tonsils, adrenals or appendix
The spleen seems to play a major part in determining what frequencies we tune into. Don’t let its small size mislead you. (it’s about the size of a fist, a PURPLE fist.)
Besides kicking out the blood cells that might cause problems, it also helps manage various OBSESSIONS.
A whole other topic-
Another thing- I should mention the essential oils more often, as they are powerful for raising voltage. Here are several that are beneficial for the spleen- Surrender, Release, Gratitude, Thieves, and Transformation.
(Did you know thieves oil makes a great antiperspirant? Wearing it under your arms each day not only may prevent body odor- but also manage stress related to the entire lymphatic system, including the spleen! I wear it every day that way, and people say “what’s that nice smell? Is it cinnamon?)
ALSO - a google search says sesame, pumpkin, or sunflower seeds are good for the spleen- and/or legumes, kidney beans, sweet potatoes…
In conclusion- the SPLEEN is like a bad-ass bouncer, keeping out undesirables.
We need it, and want to keep it happy!
