Recently my water bill skyrocketed. Apparently, somewhere under the house there was a major leak. FINALLY – after a leak detection service and variety of plumbers - it was located and fixed.  But not until yesterday…it was a drawn-out, somewhat worrisome process.   

So- there’s a point to this- I woke up this morning wondering what to say about stress related to what seems to be manipulation of our minds/life force via the corporate system.  I finally realized maybe it should be handled just like the leak situation.

In that case, I gave the situation as little energy as possible. In other words, I didn't talk about it, obsess over it.  Words and thoughts create. I didn't want things to GET WORSE.

Still, I had to face the problem so it could be corrected. To ignore it would have been disastrous. Maybe it's also time to FACE the LEAK of our life force caused by the commandeering of our air/food/water/politics/entertainment by the corporate structure  - -but not OBSESS over it. Just FIX it.

And that may not happen overnight.

The truth is that corporations control our world. A growing number of experts say our brain chemistry has been manipulated, and that we have been programmed with FALSE beliefs, all in the name of corporate profits. 

For example, what is BLISS?  

We have been taught- subliminally for the most part- that bliss is having an abundance of money, a high earning/prestigious career, finding a soul mate, being good-looking with very white teeth, maybe even being a top athlete or entertainer, and so on.  The heart of the message is “Rise to the top! Be an elite person, better than others!”

But here’s the rub:

Those who DO achieve these things do not experience bliss/contentment/happiness.

This is not speculation- there is now technology that can measure the biochemistry of the brain. Turns out people are happiest when they have the money to simply meet their needs.  It seems an abundance of money/status/power brings about MISERY, because the more you have the more you want.

(yes, most still want to put this to the test.)

But even just being a consumer is negative vibes, according to measurements of the brain during spending sprees!   

Have we been confused, or WHAT!?

Here’s what BLISS turns out to be- caring for other people, having goals that benefit both yourself and others, service without thought of reward.  When consciousness is at this level, it seems all needs are met.

Making it to the top, achieving wealth and power for ourselves and loved ones, while others live in lack, does NOT result in BLISS.

Figuring all this out is a work in progress. For starters, maybe turn off the TV and fix yourself some eggs.

And yes, I know. What are we supposed to do while eating the eggs?
