I've never been able to get into astrology. Talk like " Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, returned to Sagittarius,  and then went back to Capricorn...circles with lines and squares in all directions... confounds me.

Plus, I just can't quite accept the fatalism, for example, " My Jupiter is in this spot on my chart so I will always struggle, or not struggle." I'd rather draw my own circle with a big arrow to Jupiter.

Am probably just showing my ignorance.  We're electromagnetic beings. It stands to reason that the energy the heavens put out could have an impact. But then I think of the time a college professor took his students' birth data and returned the next day with a personal astrology chart for each of them. After listening to them rave in amazement over how well their individual charts described them, he let them know they were all looking at Adolf Hitler's chart.

Still- because it's interesting-here's some information on Mercury in Retrograde, which we went into on the 5th and will stay until the 25th.

Mercury, known as the planet of communication, is supposedly moving backwards. Cars and machinery will break down, communication will go haywire. Sure enough, that does seem to happen. (We actually may be creating this confusion ourselves, since we think " OH NO! Mercury retrograde!")

I looked it up. To me, just believing what others dictate is what's gotten this planet into the mess it seems to be in. I don't care who says it, if they're in a position to impact my life, I'm going to check it out for myself.  Our politicians, religious leaders, medical authorities- often steer us the wrong way. They know we download what they say as if we were robots.

And guess what. Mercury isn't moving backwards.  Check this out for yourself.

Still, I'm far from knowledgeable on the subject. There are some predicted benefits for this coming retrograde.

We're told to look at events from 2008- especially as they impacted our finances and business- and prepare to move away from that chaos.  Specifically:

There is the potential of moving out of an old environment, into a new terrain.
We will have the opportunity to align with business and career goals.

This sounds good for any time of year. So, I added the following charges to the daily energy session:

And just a thought-  Obama announced his latest executive order on Jan 5, the first day of retrograde. Guess it's not a problem- communication can't go haywire when there is none.
