FOOD IS THE DOORWAY by Cathy D. Slaght
A couple of months ago a friend called and asked me to try a weight management shake. Knowing I've blown my money way too many times on this kind of thing she said she would pay for one month. Who can say no to that? And it was easy- every morning i just had to put some water in the blender, open a packet, add 3 ice cubes, and blend. Tasted fine. That first month was sporadic- on the road, not taking it with me, forgetting other days. Typical self sabotage. Still, it seemed that some of my cravings were curbed. (My cravings are along the line of bread, potatoes, snack foods, and an occasional glass of wine. This is all loaded with sugar- except for potatoes, which TURN to sugar in the body. All this lowers voltage, and as we know, high voltage is the key to creating the life you desire) Ordered another month's worth, and started looking into what was in it that could possibly be curbing my appetite. NOTHNG has ever worked this way for me. The matrix stepped in by seating me next to a couple at a dinner party that had some expertise in nutrition. They explained that this particular product, known as Shakeology, is designed to heal the gut. 90 days, they said, should do it. However, because it's so nutritionally dense, I'll probably continue. Am actually saving money because it has probiotics and other minerals and vitamins so am no longer having to buy them. And yesterday was the acid test. At Thanksgiving Dinner I was able to pass up bread and dessert. Didn't want it. What's exciting is that I know the SRC4U work is far more powerful when combined with adequate nutrition. Yet any other approach to cutting out processed foods- for example like those spelled out in yesterday's post- has been impossible for me to stick with. Now maybe my work for myself and others will be enhanced as I let go of voltage lowering foods.
To order click link below and look about 3/4 down the left under "nutrition and supplements" for Shakeology, which is highlighted in green. (The company is known as Beachbody, but what I'm doing at present is just their Shakeology product) You are not "signing up" for anything, just purchasing the shake.

WOW, Is Shakeology nutrition in a shake? So much food is GMO or souped up with something that sends me or my kids off the wall. I am so tired of looking at labels, I feel the whole food chain is contaminated. Would you recommend these shakes for ones daily nutritional intake? Are they safe for children to drink? Is this a program I could sell as a stay at home Mom? Thank you Cathy for all your beautiful Blog posts.

This shake is as dense a form of nutrition as I've been able to find! The only thing I also take is a product that reseeds the mitochondria and of course a fatty acid supplement. Have to admit that if I REALLY want to eat- like on a holiday- I may not drink the shake, because it curbs my appetite so much!
