IF YOU STAY IN YOUR PRESENT REALITY by Cathy D. Slaght

Last night I had the strangest dream.

First, I was on a stage, looking down over a large crowd, receiving applause.

I realized it must be some sort of ceremony. And there were TV cameras.

It was obvious I was a person of power and influence.

A celebrity.

I turned to the cameras: PEOPLE OF AMERICA. YOU ARE A BUNCH OF UNSOPHISTICATED HAYSEEDS WHO DON’T GET IT. VOTE AS WE INSTRUCT OR YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING TO WATCH AND NO MUSIC TO LISTEN TO.

And from the back of the room a small voice said “haven’t you ever heard of www.youtube.com”?

Suddenly, the dream shifted. It was me again, and I was in front of the computer, watching youtubes on the liver. UGH

THEN – another big shift- St. Valentine appeared.

“You do know”, he began, “that I was a Priest? But I encouraged young people to marry, which was illegal for the working class at that time. People were supposed to satisfy their sexual needs by having sex with a variety of people. This made them easier to control.

There were even events, sanctioned by the rulers, where men just drew names of women from jars, and had sex with whomever they drew.

I discouraged this and promoted marriage, so was labeled a heretic. They put me in prison, where I was tortured and finally executed. Right before the execution I wrote a letter to a young couple who wanted to marry and signed it Your Valentine. That’s how Valentine’s day came to be.”

Then I woke up. Stiff and sore, too, as if I’d run a marathon.

There on the nightstand was a note:
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO YOU AND THE ENERGY GROUP.

p.s. DON’T BINGE ON CHOCOLATE. IT’S BAD FOR THE LIVER, MAKES YOUR MUSCLES ACHE, AND GIVES YOU NIGHTMARES.

So, I’m confused. Was St. Valentine’s just a part of the dream, or was he HERE, in my present reality?

Sounds quantum.
