Just took my first selfie- seems like the celebrities do well with this concept, so thought I'd try too.  

This is my Kim Kardashian pout. (Decided to keep my clothes on, though, since this is a site about creating well-being, not destroying it.)  

The book is: Why Isn't My Brain Working?" by Datis Kharrazian, DHSc. DC, MS

Thing is, it's taken me about 6 months to read this -  I can't seem to stay focused.

People magazine, a good movie, no problem. But I can't sit the way I used to and read a  non-fiction book.

I get restless, bored.

We've adapted to a new way of communication- we're mesmerized by images, especially when they flash from our TVs and computers.

And written material- we'll only "read" it if it's written in a form that can be quickly scanned.

A book- especially a big fat non-fiction like this one- can be a challenge. Our attention span is just too limited- they say it's about 8 seconds.

Yet we need our brains to be ONLINE- that's a requirement for bringing in the life we desire.

Have you gone OFFLINE? Here are some clues-  

Poor focus and concentration
Brain fog
Unclear thoughts
Poor mental focus after meals
Loss of pleasure in hobbies or interests
Inner rage and anger
Feelings of depression
Difficulty finding joy
Unable to fall into deep sleep
Feelings of anxiety or panic for no reason
Feelings of dread
Feelings of overwhelm for no reason
Restless mind
Hard to turn mind off when you want to relax
Disorganized attention
Worry about things you'd never thought of before
Inability to self-motivate
Inability to start or finish tasks
Feelings of worthlessness
Feelings of hopelessness
Lose temper for minor reasons
Isolation
Unexplained lack of concern for family and friends
Must drink coffee to improve brain function.
