(Decided to keep my clothes on, though, since this is a site about creating well-being, not destroying it.) The book is: Why Isn't My Brain Working?" by Datis Kharrazian, DHSc. DC, MS Thing is, it's taken me about 6 months to read this - I can't seem to stay focused. People magazine, a good movie, no problem. But I can't sit the way I used to and read a non-fiction book. I get restless, bored. We've adapted to a new way of communication- we're mesmerized by images, especially when they flash from our TVs and computers. And written material- we'll only "read" it if it's written in a form that can be quickly scanned. A book- especially a big fat non-fiction like this one- can be a challenge. Our attention span is just too limited- they say it's about 8 seconds. Yet we need our brains to be ONLINE- that's a requirement for bringing in the life we desire. Have you gone OFFLINE?
