LIVING ON AUTO-PILOT ? by Cathy D. Slaght
Every week I read at least a book or two- it's been like this for years.
No TV- that's where I get the time.
Plus the dishes kind of stack up.
SO, a friend called the other day and said "you MUST get this book":
"The Code of the Extraordinary Mind".
Of course I immediately ordered it.
Meanwhile, on the blog, we've been talking about the 7 Natural Laws.
We're on #2, Correspondence.
What this law says is that what's going on inside of us is what appears in our reality.
"as above, so below"
My interpretation- we are programmed, and these programs operate much like seeds-
Just one example- if you're running a victim program, you unconsciously interface with MIND to pull in circumstances to make you a victim.
So, the new book arrived Saturday.
I set it aside, because I already have 3 books ahead of it.
Sunday, right after posting for the day- the first segment of information on the Law of Correspondence- I took a quick peek -
And couldn't put it down.
Here are some excerpts from the author's opening statement:
"...I would be hesitant to call this a personal growth book. It's more of a personal disruption book... It forces you to rethink aspects of your life that may have been running on autopilot for years... Within months of reading this book you may find yourself no longer accepting certain aspects of your current reality. That's because many of your beliefs and past decisions were never taken on by choice- but installed by default."
(figuring this out is known as an awakening)
The author, Vishen Lakhiani, has a computer background.
He applied his knowledge of computers to consciousness, MIND.
It's groundbreaking work.
What he puts into such clear terms- we are biological computers, programmed, downloaded, in many cases to our detriment.
He teaches how to dismantle these programs through "computational" thinking-
This means breaking problems down into parts, like a computer would do.
(This makes you highly logical and an excellent problem solver.)
As he says,
"We are living in a massive sea of human beliefs, ideas and practices. Some are beautiful and bring joy, others are unnecessary, limiting, and sometimes even crippling. A fish is the last to see it's swimming in a substance called water. Likewise we are often the last to see this mass of human thoughts."
I hope you'll have a chance to read this book.
And, I sure wish I could show Mr. Lakhiani the SRC4YOU-
Would love to know what he thinks.
Can't be sure- but I think he would approve.
