Very inspiring, if you have time to check it out. One of the suggestions she made was to keep a diary- she called it the “Wahls Diary Alert. Answering these questions consistently, she believes, was instrumental to her recovery. How do you feel today? Be specific. What did you do just for yourself today? What did you eat today? How did it make you feel? Did you exercise today? What did you do? How did it feel? For whom or what are you grateful? What matters most in your life? Do you have a higher purpose or driving force in your life? How would you describe your stress level today? What could you do tomorrow to make it a better day than today? I was thinking about this, and realized a diary could also reveal various character structure traits. Here’s how someone who exhibits schizoid qualities might record their day: Q. How do you feel today? Be specific. A. Terrified. WWIII is around the corner, and our country is going broke. Q. What did you do just for yourself today? A. I purchased a great book on Angels! Q. What did you eat today? How did it make you feel? A. Eat? Q. Did you exercise today? What did you do? How did it feel? A. My back bothers me way too much to exercise! Q. For whom or what are you grateful? What matters most in your life? A. My connection with the spirit world. Q. Do you have a higher purpose or driving force in your life? A. Am just trying to survive. Q. How would you describe your stress level today? A. Off the charts. People are so hostile! Q. What could you do tomorrow to make it a better day than today? A. Stay in bed. Am just playing here, but you get the idea. Tomorrow we’ll talk about the Oral Character Structure- the one NOBODY wants to claim!
