SMALL FACTS LEAD TO GREAT KNOWING by Cathy D. Slaght
Everything we eat, drink, touch and breathe filters through the liver. It's a magnificent detox factory, and much more, with over 500 functions, Unfortunately, much of what we're filtering through seems to be throwing it way off course. First, there's the highly processed/sugar laden/ irradiated/GMO foods which many now seem to be addicted to. Also, vaccinations, tattoos (yes- check the link to hep c), heavy metals & chemicals used in construction, household and cleaning products, cosmetics, and much more. There's a wide array of pharmaceuticals to help manage this stress- except they seem, in many cases, to be adding to it. TOO MANY SUPPLEMENTS can do the same thing. (That's why I use the SRC to check for resonance with products before taking them. Each of us is unique- so couldn't possibly all expect the same results from this or that drug or supplement. A pendulum or muscle testing can test, also. Just remember that many of us could be taking too many supplements.) But did you know a person can function with as much as 90% of the liver destroyed? Don't get me wrong- this doesn't mean it's okay to live in this condition. Life is about much more than simply functioning. But, it IS why you can't always judge the condition of your liver by how you feel ,and why dis-eases may seem to sneak up. Here's a few warning signs of liver toxicity - bloating, right shoulder pain, itching on the bottom of the feet, and/or big belly. But, remember: The liver can 100% regenerate. It may take a long time, as much as 3 years. A quick online search gives information on foods that can support this process. Meanwhile, the mainstream media programs us to crave the very things that harm the liver. They face loss of corporate advertising if they don't. And, in spite of a 700% increase in publications on the benefits of herbs, medical journals are also subject to the loss of corporate advertising if they share the studies, so often do not. With that in mind, here's some information from the S.O.H.O conference. First, some herbs that may support the liver- plenty of information online. Milk Thistle Dandelion Burdock root Artichoke Curcumin Additional information from the conference- top selling herbs at this time – Aloe Vera- may reduce stress related to glucose levels, good for oral diseases Bacopa- seems to reduce stress related to liver/kidney toxicity, improve cognitive performance, memory, may relieve attention deficit. Black Cohosh- anti-inflammatory, may reduce menopause symptoms Chasteberry – seems to reduce stress related to PMS Cinnamon- may control stress related to blood sugar Cacao- may reduce blood pressure I use “may” or “seems to” because it's not good to make claims. But if you seem to be reading this post it could be worth your time to learn more about the power of herbal supplements. Check out mushrooms, too. Reishi mushrooms, for example, are said to protect against toxicity in liver cells. One last thing- it's recommended that we eat 7 CUPS of vegetables a day. I used to do this, but got out of the habit, now am back on. For today I simply bought a huge tub of spinach- will see how it goes. Meanwhile, gather as many facts as possible- even small, seemingly insignificant ones. It makes the neurons in the brain fire, so we can attract further information, even leads to great , seemingly intuitive, KNOWING.
