If this site was of enough significance, maybe it would get a mention on quackwatch. After all, the idea being promoted is that maybe, with changes in lifestyle and/or stress management, issues such as depression, anxiety, learning problems, and so on, might clear up on their own.

But let's focus on the positive. Give thanks that psychiatry has transformed itself into a medical discipline. Before that, all kinds of weird things were done –torture, actually, in various forms- like draining blood from the head, removing body parts, and- chaining people up like animals, charging admission to see them.

Thankfully, the profession is constantly learning what does and doesn't work. It only took about 1 million lobotomies  before they figured out that there was less mess and more money with medication. 

Yes, they continue to set us straight. Behavior is controlled through conditioning. We are no different from Pavlov's dogs. Come to think about it,who knows what your dog can do! And read up on the Skinner Box...

Meanwhile, thanks to all the money coming in, there are many wonder drugs to look forward to. And, we have people like Stephen Barrett with quackwatch, and of course the main stream media,to keep us from that crazy alternative stuff.

Funny thing, though. From what I can find online, Barrett has M.D. after his name, but it turns out he is not an M.D., retired or otherwise. Apparently he couldn't pass the certification exam. No legal training, either, or nutritional education.

This means – as I see it - that when he presents himself as an M.D. and/or expert in these fields – it isn't really true.

And, apparently I'm not alone in this opinion- three California judges in a published appeals court decision took a hard look at Barrett and declared him “biased, and unworthy of credibility”.

In fact, from what I've learned- do your own research if this interests you- Barrett seems to be a shill for the pharmaceutical industry.

How quantum is THAT- what is TRUE could actually be the OPPOSITE of the information we have been taking in with our five senses-
