…lack of appreciation.
We’ve been programmed to want more, be more, do more.
As a result, many never feel they have enough.
TRUTH is - we don't want to focus on- or resist- lack in any form. 
Those who do this may not understand how we really operate.
It's like a radio. (we're powerful energy receivers/transmitters)
With a man-made radio, you don’t complain or argue when you don't like what you're listening to.
First, you give thanks that you HAVE a radio- and that you can change the station.
Then you do it.
You KNOW there are plenty of stations to choose from. 
The human radio has a bunch more.
Our DIAL is much more sophisticated, too.
We can have gratitude/appreciation running in the background at all times.
Seriously.
But there's more.
In addition to being powerful receivers/transmitters of energy, we are also MAGNETIC.
Over time, when set to the energy of gratitude, we magnetize ourselves to abundance in all forms.
Thoughts are a factor in this magnetizing, primarily those on a SUBCONSCIOUS level. 
That's why the SRC can be such powerful manifestation tool. 
With awareness of a subconscious stress factor, for example, like not feeling worthy, changes can be made on a conscious level.  
Also, WORDS are powerful.
Years ago, I mentioned to a friend that I couldn’t understand why another of our friends had such bad luck …one thing after another.
She has such spiritual knowledge and power, it just didn't make sense.
But the person I mentioned it to didn’t miss a beat- “She complains all the time”, was the reply.
I hadn't noticed this, it was such a part of her persona.
So, I mentioned it to her. She became so angry that our friendship has never been the same.
Nothing other than that changed.
SO- just take a good look at your OWN programming.  And keep in mind: 
COMPLAINING CAN BE THE KISS OF DEATH IF YOU'RE WANTING TO CREATE A LIFE OF JOY AND ABUNDANCE.

And, this was interesting - there’s tremendous stress related to what we perceive as BAD TIMING.
