Finished the book- BEYOND THE ABORTION WARS- last night, and then went on to gather some statistical information.

AS A RESULT –am going to go into how the affirmation disc worked another time - want to be in a lighthearted mood- so this is not the day, because of what I've learned.

So- we’ve come to a time where pro-choice leaders are insisting abortion not be limited in any way. We’re told it’s a MUST for women’s rights.

But is it really liberating women? Statistically the happiness of American women is DECLINING.

Here are additional statistics related to those who have had abortions (1/3 of American women) http://afterabortion.org/

These were not pre-existing disorders:
Women who have abortions have a 6-7x higher suicide rate

(Up to 60% have suicidal thoughts, with 28% attempting suicide, half of these trying 2 or more times.)

There is a 65% higher rate of clinical depression

65% have PSTD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

39% report subsequent eating disorders

30-50% report sexual dysfunction after an abortion.

80% report guilt, 83% regret, 79% loss, 62% anger, 70% depression.

Also, there are sleep disorders, substance abuse, and repressed grief leading to self-destructive lifestyles.

Women with a history of abortion are likely to have shorter future relationships and more divorces.

There is more poverty and single parenthood after repeated abortions.

Data from BEYOND THE ABORTION WARS-

The Medical Science Monitor study discovered the following about American women after their abortions:

• Relationship with partner improved  0.9%
• Felt better about myself 0.9 %
• Felt more in control of my life 0.3%
• Felt guilt 77.9%
• Felt that a part of me died. 59%
• Unable to forgive self 62.2%
  
  

If you’ve read this far- and many cannot/will not- here’s a possible reason for all this stress:
The energy of AUTHENTIC FEMINISM is being skewed.

Specifically, there is a LOVE energy generated by women that involves CARING FOR THE VULNERABLE.

Set in motion, this energy could transform the world. There was a time this was the prediction. Women would come together and say NO MORE WAR/FAMINE/SEX-TRAFFICKING – and so on-

Men haven’t gotten it done.

But now, a bunch of billionaires- MEN, by the way, who profit from all this- and yes, ABORTION is big $$$ too- may be attempting to inspire, in women, energy that can negate this power.

And, of course, there may be some women who never had it anyway.
