THE VORTEXES OF JOY CALLED CHAKRAS by Cathy D. Slaght
Years ago- back in the 90’s, to be more specific- one night I found myself suddenly wide awake, sitting straight up, saying (loudly) VORTEX, then spelling it out V-O-R-T-E-X – and going right back to sleep.
The next morning was thinking “what a strange dream”, looked up the word, saw it meant “whirlpool” and wouldn’t let my daughter go to the beach. Also asked everybody who would listen what they thought the dream meant.
Nobody had a clue- but am now thinking it could have been referencing chakras.
Chakras are said to look like swirling vortices of light- or, as I now prefer to call them, “steering wheels” of light. They emanate from the spine’s front and back sides. They’re invisible, but very real bodies of energy, very similar to physical organs.
(Subtle energy. And, as you know, energy is simply information that vibrates and moves. Everything is energy.)
Anyway, the point - there’s some great material out there saying that working with the chakra system CONSCIOUSLY enables a person to direct and guide their everyday life.
(We’re already working with our chakras, just not consciously.)
If we could work with this system consciously- which we CAN- it could be powerful, because chakras are said to hold beliefs, and beliefs create what we see as our reality.
How many beliefs have been programmed in that have created what we DO NOT consciously desire?
What if it turns out we’ve always had these vortexes of energy in place to help us out?
It makes sense to learn more. Here goes-
At a primal level, chakras are very similar to physical organs. Each has a home and a special job.
The difference- each chakra is able to perform psychological and spiritual duties in addition to physical ones. (On the other hand, if a single chakra is compromised the entire system can go downhill.)
An example from Llewellyn’s Little Book of Chakras by Cindi Dale:
“If you have hepatitis C (a chronic liver infection), a physically oriented doctor would probably provide prescription medicines. A chakra-based approach might also help you figure out the emotional issues affecting the infection, enable a beneficial healing attitude, bolster the positive effects of the medical treatment and connect you to spiritual guidance for support. A chakra can do all this because it’s composed of subtle rather than physical energy.”
So much to learn about all this- maybe even for those of us who thought we already knew-
Grab your chakra steering wheels…
…because subtle doesn’t mean weak.
Today’s scan, etheric, not physical
