Use the Infant Formula Crisis to Start The Great Work... by Cathy D. Slaght

…or, as Winston Churchill put it, “Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste”

For starters, since this is yet another crisis that apparently stems from governmental agencies/ corporations (the two seem to be inseparable) maybe it makes sense to ask a few questions.

Yes, I know- questions do not seem to be very popular with a certain segment of the population, so apologies in advance for this heresy, but here goes:

1. It appears the FDA knew of this impending crisis as far back as September 2021. Why didn’t this governmental agency DO something to protect our most vulnerable?
2. If we are now at a critical, life-threatening point related to baby formula shortage, why is our government sending pallets of it to the border for the illegals while shelves in the states remain empty?
3. Finally - do either of these entities- government or corporate- have any conception- oh that’s a bad word- realization- of the power of a mother’s love, and the grizzly bear energy that can be activated when it comes to her baby?

(Not to leave the men out, but we know from years of sit-coms that men are just a bunch of idiots, evil too, according to experts, especially if they happen to be Caucasian.)

Still, this could be a gigantic wake-up call for the mothers of America- dads too, of course, please forgive the sarcasm above.

AND -that grizzly bear energy could describe a grandparent’s love as well.

In my case it does- as of Wednesday, May 11, I am the grandmother of the most precious baby boy ever to exist. Seriously, I didn’t think a person could be this far over the moon.

Only problem-I now appear to be headed for MARS because of the formula situation. Yes, my daughter is breast feeding but the milk is coming in slowly. It’s not enough at this point. (Many women have challenges, so thank you very much for your “I don’t care” advice to the struggling mothers, Bette Midler)

Mars, in terms of astrology, represents anger. It reflects fighting ability and aggression towards solving problems.

Thing is that anger is not the answer. It lowers voltage, bringing poor health and all sorts of other problems, primarily because it brings FOCUS on the source of the anger, which creates more of it.

Instead, more of us could start asking questions, do some research, try to figure a few things out.
You know, be thorns in a few sides. Create a positive result- because yes, we WILL do that.

For starters, maybe it’s time to re-examine the messages our powerful brains have been downloading, compliments of the governmental/corporate system…public education, media, religion and who knows what else…since the dawn of civilization but particularly since radio, television, computers, and cell phones entered the picture.

Remember, the brain/mind interface operates like a powerful computer- we’re easily programmed. Maybe we should question whether the governmental/corporate structures that orchestrate many of these downloads have our best interests at heart.

For example, now, somehow, many don’t seem to realize that a newborn is a living being.

Think about it- with the understanding we now have of fetal development, how on earth could it be legal to abort at 9 months, as it is in New York? Why don’t we just take people out and draw and quarter them? How have we come to this? Is there even an answer? What ever happened to birth control? “How much is Planned Parenthood making from all this?”

What about emotional scars for those who have these abortions?

While we’re at it, let’s question why the primary target of Planned Parenthood is people of color. Anybody keeping up with the dramatic decrease in the black population? Should there be concern?Black lives matter except for babies? Read up on Margaret Sanger, see what you think.

Finally, why all this emphasis on children questioning their gender? This is apparently encouraged in public schools but also promoted via all forms of media. This doesn’t seem to be working out so well, either. (Do your own research, check out suicide rates.)

These few questions regarding the welfare of our children are just a start if we can realize their significance.

This present crisis may open a few eyes as to authorities’ true lack of concern for their well-being.
