With just 8 days left in 2018, the goal is to finish up sharing as much SOHO information as possible. Then we can move on to a LETTING GO protocol which might be appropriate for moving in to 2019. Again, the over-all theme at the conference was anti-aging. AND - there might be some reasons beyond the obvious for wanting to stick around the earth plane as long as possible. It seems about 40,000 years ago the creativity of mankind- as far as developing tools, agriculture, and so on- blossomed. Scholars say this was because humans began to live longer, and therefore the older were able to share their knowledge with the young. Yes, it's true. The longer a person lives, the more knowledge they gain. (this typically comes from making many mistakes which turn out to be excellent teachers.) Regardless- this puts a new light on the concept of retirement... and/or the idea of those who are up in years just sitting around retirement/nursing homes. The “Here's a shovel. A few more bits of data from the conference-
As far as telomeres, whose length- the longer the better- is related to lifespan – a) environmental toxicity shreds them and b) they are 51% longer in people who take a multivitamin. Calorie restriction was a major factor in staying young. Several speakers said we must deal with the liver DAILY-. (with the group SRC work, we do.) Finally, the significance of protein supplementation was discussed. There's nothing in our body proteins aren't involved with. They're major workhorses, breaking down and building up various substances 24/7. But there's a dark side. It could be we're getting TOO MUCH PROTEIN. At that point it can CLUMP, or AGGREGATE in the cells, causing a wide assortment of diseases. We've been talking about CVD, for example- a recent statistic says about 20% of heart attacks are due to protein aggregation. Then there's what can happen in the brain, such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's Disease. This clumping is apparently related to the quantity and form of protein consumed. Certain forms may have to go on the naughty list. More on this tomorrow.
