A MAP OF REALITY- AND YOUR TOOLBOX by Cathy D. Slaght
It may be time to face the possibility that fluoride- which is in about 70% of our drinking water and many other products as well- is hazardous to health. As in all things, once awareness sets in, the solution presents itself. It doesn’t involve getting upset or angry, going into judgment mode, etc. Also, there’s no need to interfere with anyone else’s free will. (many are deeply programmed to WANT the fluoride, believing it fights tooth decay.) However- for those who choose to join the ranks of the aware, the least expensive way to remove fluoride from water is by using BASIL. Adding a few leaves, the powder, or a drop of Basil Vitality Essential Oil to daily drinking water and/or bath water is said to reduce the amount of fluoride in water to a very large extent. (For today’s group work, the image of Basil Vitality EO is added. As you know, the subconscious mind is heavily influenced by images) But to continue- Basil was an integral part of ancient alternative medicine. The benefits- and they are significant- were written in ancient books of the East. The Greek Orthodox Church used it in traditional rituals. The women of the house sprinkled it on the thresholds of their houses on St. Basil’s day (January 1) to usher in a new, fruitful, and prosperous new year. In India, for Hindu households, the garden must have a sacred basil plant. It’s called Tulsi. They revere it as a sacred manifestation of the gods. It’s believed that any house with a Tulsi plant growing in it is never going to suffer from dis-ease, sickness, or bad luck. (The ancients knew the value of some of these plants, and apparently decided that the best way to make the common person treasure, trust and use them would be to make them part of religious rituals.) Now the benefits of basil have been proven scientifically. Researchers have discovered it has strong anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti- viral properties. In many parts of the East it's a habit to eat five leaves, fresh off the plant, every morning. Not only does this keep the breath sweet, but is also is also said to keep the body tone and healthy. A drop of Basil Vitality EO might accomplish the same thing. BUT- this got me to thinking. Even though I have an excellent water system, and plenty of EO- it’s probably time to quit talking about starting a garden and DO it. Last night decided it’s going to be a keyhole garden- today’s image is an example. Let’s see if I follow through. If so, will re-investigate ORMUS. It’s said to be a powerful gardening aid. And one more thing- there’s an ancient poem about a woman who planted her ex-husband’s head under her basil plant... (Just kidding- remember, keep laughing, it raises voltage.)
