Saw a great movie Tuesday night - a true story- Eddie The Eagle. 

Michael "Eddie" Edwards had a dream of becoming an Olympian. 

To any rational person, this was ridiculous. He wasn't gifted athletically, and his family didn't have the money to get him equipment, coaching, etc.

He failed repeatedly. His dream made him an object of ridicule.

Still, despite all odds, in 1988 he made it to the Olympics as a ski jumper. Although he finished last, the people fell in love with him because of his perseverance.  ​

In the movie, you see that as a child he was constantly doing etchings of the Olympic logo, looking at pictures of his heroes, and stating that he would be an Olympian.

This created neural net pathways which pulled in that reality. (All possibilities surround us, in frequency form.)

Science demonstrates that this IS the way things really work.

Anyway, right after watching this movie I read that President Obama recently said, in a speech, that achievers are just lucky.

"Those who don't succeed are simply victims of the system" he said.

I'd like to disagree. We are equipped to create any reality. We pull it in through the neural pathways we create.

These pathways are created by the choices we make.

The belief that all this is out of our control is a trap.

And  what a shame- people end up going through life as if they're more dead than alive.

Because if there's actually such a thing as luck, here's what it might really be:
