This morning I went to see a friend in the hospital. Friday night, taking out the trash, he had a freak accident- a cut on the leg that almost removed his calf muscle. He lost so much blood that he would have died if a neighbor hadn't heard his moans.

But today, here's what he said:  "I've had a problem with anger all my life. In fact, I was angry when I was taking out the trash, and believe that's why I had this accident. I'm ready to make some changes."

That's how it seems to work. If we're on the wrong path, the Universe steps in with a lesson. If we ignore it, the next lesson is tougher.

I've had my share, you probably have too.

So- on a larger scale- let's look at the U.S.  

We see so much that doesn't make sense.

An increasing number of experts are saying that our leaders exhibit characteristics of psychopathy.

(Powerful, charming, brilliant men and women - politicians, CEOs, doctors, lawyers, scientists, clergy - but also liars, self-serving, immoral, no shame or guilt.)

Have to admit, the evidence is compelling.

"We want to know what we're eating!" we cry. "Why is so much hidden?"

" Our children are not well! Is it vaccinations? GMO? Chemicals? Cell phones? Do something! Help us!"

"Does anybody see what's happening in Europe? How about Venezuela? Why are we implementing the same policies?"  

Regardless, our leaders continue to do what serves THEM, not us.

Apparently something to do with the corporate structure and profits.

Like the wars- very profitable- so barely a day off and we're butchering and being butchered again.

This is happening around the world. Put it all together and it's as if we're being featured in a global snuff film.

Are world leaders certifiably insane? Is it us?

OR- is this a series of lessons letting us know it's time to plug back in to the matrix?
