THE LIVING HEART OF THE COSMOS by Cathy D. Slaght
Yesterday turned in to a strange day.
The group’s words to ponder started a thinking process- they were something along the line of “Men don’t get cellulite, God must be a man.”
I started wondering why it’s now so politically correct for women to have a bad attitude towards men.
I myself am a feminist along the lines of Mother Jones. She’s one of my all-time heroes. But Mother Jones worked with female energy.
That energy, by design, is different from the energy of men. Not less powerful, nor more. Yin/yang, a powerful combo.
An electrical circuit.
I hadn’t wanted to get in to this right now, with all the feminist protests. It may alienate some readers. Yet it might deal, in a big way, with our individual and collective voltage, our connection to the HEART of the cosmos.
So, I asked for a sign that it was appropriate to post about it today. If you ASK for a sign, you’ll nearly always get one!
The first came when one of my clients, a woman who is at the top of the totem pole professionally, arrived for her session. We’re doing the “where’s the fire” approach this week.
When I asked her what she wanted to find the “fire” for-
She said UNHAPPINESS.
THEN, a client later in the day decided to share that in her twenties she’d had an abortion, and still felt guilty. She wondered if that might tie in to her current relationship issues.
These 2 things, to me, were a GO-
I started with asking myself some questions.
“Why are women so much unhappier now, 70 years later, than they were before the feminist movement, as we know it, came to life?”
(maybe they aren’t, this is just where my thought process started. So many women say they are unhappy, unfulfilled, lonely, etc.)
Also, a big issue in the feminist movement is reproductive freedom. Has anybody heard of birth control? Is anyone suggesting abstinence to our teens and pre-teens? Don’t say Planned Parenthood- it’s not happening there, it’s the opposite.
They say a woman very often doesn’t have the financial resources to raise a child, so needs the freedom to abort. Does this mean poor people should not be allowed to live?
Next: A person supposedly does not have rights until they can live independently of the mother. Even a one year old cannot survive on its own. How far does this “living independently’ thing go?
There are other issues, and yes, women have experienced injustices. But-my opinion- the behavior being encouraged now is counter-productive. It can’t help but lower of voltage/consciousness.
And REALLY - what good does it do to protest vile language/behavior of the patriarchy when YOU are now speaking/behaving in a vile manner yourself?
Finally, Natural Law dictates that things must balance out. If there’s a deficiency in one area, there will be a strength in another. For example, a person with limited sight may have more psychic ability, or sharper hearing.
So, with women, yes, there have been inequities. But what about the unique gifts that may have balanced this out - like the PROFOUND “women’s intuition”- info from the heart of the cosmos- universally acknowledged- and respected. Or, the unconditional love that a woman, in “mother energy mode” can exhibit, even “mama grizzly bear” energy?
Will we lose this as we lower our voltage to anger, lack of gratitude, greed, etc.? Will we then be operating from some sort of deficiency like, maybe, unhappiness we can’t quite define?
And by the way, these are questions for YOU to ask only YOU. I don’t know the answers myself.
This is just a start, an exercise in critical thinking.
Tomorrow is kidney day.
