![]() WHAT ARE "WORDS TO PONDER"? by Cathy D. Slaght At the end of each day's post there's some information from the daily group scan. Included is something called "words to ponder". This gives members an idea of their subconscious "self talk." Sometimes it seems to match up with the day's post, but when that happens it's purely coincidence. The WTP always comes directly from that day's scan. WTP can be significant information because we ARE our thoughts. That could spell trouble, because the internal chatter, on both the conscious and unconscious level, can be endless. But how did this non-stop talk "in our heads" come to be? Almost everything is learned by identification and association, We develop a pattern for our internal chatter- usually by age 8. It can come from our parents, television, school etc. Self-talk becomes a form of self-hypnosis. In fact, every thought creates a chemical in the body. As you think or talk about things over and over, protein synthesis occurs. It involves RNA and DNA, but specifically RNA. So do you see why the more we internalize a thought, the more it comes to us and materializes? (Self talk is talking to yourself silently, putting yourself down or thinking in miserable terms about the condition of your world. It might be what goes through your mind when you go to bed at night, before you actually fall asleep. It could be what keeps you awake. It could be what goes through your head when you watch a movie or TV show.) Hidden from our immediate view, self-talk can destroy a life. That's why I like to share the WTP- they may serve as a clue as to what's going on beneath the surface. ________________________________________________________________________ Info for Daily Energy Clearing Group- etheric, not physical
