• KI 20 and KI 21 (used together)- for someone fearful/ trapped in fear/ lonely/ suicidal /everything seems negative
• Someone facing death
• To guide a person out of the darkness of the valley
• KI 23  used when a person is not connected with his/her own identity, to awake the spirit, often used with:
• KI 24  resurrection point, used when the spirit is dead or nearly so, experience of life is dead
• Bladder points are also of great significance
• Outer bladder points- used for trouble with particular officials or emotional problems
• BL 37- shut off to deal with disaster that is unbearable, closed mind or spirit, sadness or grief has effected the lungs
• BL 38 – to build both qi and blood, general fatigue and weariness, chronic and difficult diseases, to replenish fire on a deep level
• BL 39 – strains on the heart, shock, broken heart, restores the spirit, anxiety, insomnia
• BL 40- stuck in grief, cannot deal with pain or loss, so grieved can’t function
• BL 42- hopelessness, depression, mood swings, resentment, anger, for alcoholics/drug addicts, help the person find a sense of purpose, use for people who can’t go on
• BL 44- obsession, anorexia
• BL 45- helps thoughts move
• BL 46- low vitality
• BL 47- lack of ambition or will, for revitalization, also used for over-driven will, for person depleting themselves by doing too much, depression, lack of will, feeling of powerlessness and hopelessness
